Brazilian accelerator will give US $ 50,000 and take start-ups to Silicon Valley

oxigenio-aceleradora-sao-paulo Oxygen Accelerator, maintained by Porto Seguro, is selecting Brazilian startups to distribute investments of up to US$ 50 thousand (R$ 188,000), offering consulting with professionals in the market and spending a period of up to three months in Silicon Valley, USA. The deadline to register your startup is April 24th.

Can participate in technology-based companies from all over Brazil, that have a product or prototype made and are in an intermediate stage of development. Five companies will be selected. Applications are made through the site www.oxigenioaceleradora.com.br.

Program lasts six months
The acceleration program will begin in July at the headquarters of Oxygen, located in the Champs Elysees neighborhood, in São Paulo, lasting six months. During the first three months, entrepreneurs will undergo sessions of mentoring, lectures and workshops, covering various specialties with executives of Porto Seguro and renowned market professionals.

After this period, start-ups can complete the acceleration process in the headquarters of the Plug and Play Tech Center, accelerator located in Silicon Valley, USA.

“Our goal is to stimulate entrepreneurship by providing support to selected start-ups can improve your way of solutions to achieve growth and recognition in the market,” said Italo Flammia, director of Oxygen Accelerator.

The accelerator has the technology lab with the latest equipment to assist entrepreneurs in testing their prototypes and auditorium for a hundred people.
